Where talent meets opportunity
At Cape Flats Sports Academy, we offer professional sports coaching through weekly clinics, holiday programmes and school partnerships. Our coaching clinics are the foundation of everything we do. Held across schools and venues throughout the Cape Flats, these sessions offer consistent, high-quality training.
Led by skilled volunteer coaches with over 150 years of combined experience, our programmes are designed to:

All programmes are developed with discipline, structure and holistic development in mind. Many participants lack parental figures or consistent support, and our Academy steps in to guide them through both life and sport. From feeding programmes to life skills training and motivational talks, we help develop well-rounded individuals. Our flagship sport (football), has players like Inga Nyeleka rising to pro-level via our international tours.
Through international tours and tournaments, we expose our athletes to professional pathways, first-class facilities, and cultural exchange. CFSA has facilitated international tours — such as the successful Qatar U/23 tour in 2017 — offering players the experience of professional-level competition and cross-cultural exchange. Countries earmarked for future tours include Turkey, Saudi Arabia, India, China, the UK and beyond.
To build a generation of Sports Ambassadors who embody excellence, resilience and pride.
